OverCrowded Schools

So yesterday evening right before we were getting ready to go to the Demo Derby, we found out that the boys' school is overcrowded by 3 kids and our two kids are the ones to get booted out of the school, this is just a tad bit traumatizing to them because they have went to Green Park since Pre-School, I tried to reassure them that they would have fun going to a new school and they would get to make new friends and could still hang out with their old friends, but they are still devastated by this. To make the transition a little bit easier on them I woke up and took them to the new school that they would be going to and we got to show them around and they got to meet the Principal whom I personally know and she is fabulous. Surprisingly they both chose to be in separate classes, and their classrooms are huge. The only downfall is that there is no air conditioning of any sort. Which sucks but other than that they love the school. I am sure it will grow on us all. Let me tell you I don't know how you girls in the military go through this with your kids and in your life it has got to be real hard.....I guess all I have to say is I give you props!

Walla Walla County Fair

So I think that this time of year is my most favorite time of year....They have the demo derby and then the rodeo and the parade and just everything....I am real excited this year! I will be sure to take lots of pics and hopefully post them up for you all to see!

Schools Here!!!!

So school started yesterday for the boys!!!! And I have to say it is a bit relieving! They were so cute the night before getting ready for bed all early and setting out the clothes the wanted to wear and their backpacks. The morning of they were so excited they woke up around 6:00 am very anxious to start getting ready to go to school.....But mean old me made them go rest for a little while longer so I could get myself ready also! They were ready to go an hour before school! I tolf them you know this only going to last for so long and then you're going to want to sleep but they beg to differ! So we'll see what happens as the school year progresses!

Relief

Finally a break.....Just me and my kids and I never thought I would say this but it's quite peaceful and a bit of a relief.....To have a break.....And Yea!

Expectations

Why is it that people that work and have children, think that just because you don't work, you have nothing else to do with your day. So you might as well watch their children. I have been so extremely exhausted the past few days it is ridiculous. It just seems as if they think that I don't have a life of my own so I should just watch their kids. Don't get me wrong I love kids. I just figure I have my own kids and my own things to do, why should I add to that. It's overwhelming as it is. It wouldn't be as bad if some of the people that I am doing these things for would return the favor but I know that they never will. I don't know maybe I am just over-reacting or something. All I know is that I have never been more exhausted in my life!

So today's topic......Drama Seeking People........Why on God's Green Earth do some people seek drama?
What is it with these people do they have nothing better to do then to cause drama in people's lives?
I mean seriously nothing better to do? Within the last month or so I have been doing a lot of thinking and kind of figuring out who I really am and have decided that drama should not and will not be a part of my life any longer. I am sick of it. Since then I have decided that I am just going to be myself no matter what.....And if people don't like that or better yet can't handle that then really it is not my problem....I guess I am finally following my mother's advice she had been giving me for years...Surround yourself with positive people and positive things and of course for me to be positive about things....So here's a little quote I thought would bring a good end to this blog.....

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person. When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on. Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a season. LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

Don't Make Fun Of Me....

While my friend Elissa was here visiting last month she suggested that I start a blog.....I admit I was a bit skeptical at first of the whole idea....I mean me of all people writing about stuff and trying not to sound like a complete idiot.....But I am going to give it a try, it'll give me something to do and I can post pictures that I have taken on here....So yea....I am gonna give it my best shot!
